• Award-winning sports writer/columnist at three newspapers – Fort Wayne News-Sentinel, Evansville Press and Evansville Courier. Many stories have gone via wire service to appear in papers such as the Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, Indianapolis Star, Miami Herald, Kansas City Star and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
• Author of more than two dozen books – five on Indiana University sports (IU Press, Globe Pequot, Arcadia publishers), multiple children's sports and history books through Mitchell Lane Publishing and Purple Toad Publishing.
• Veteran freelance writer for the Associated Press, Homes&Lifestyles, Indiana University Alumni Magazine, USA Today and more. More than a hundred freelance articles ranging from business to travel to profiles to homes to lifestyle to social issues.
